Two ways to fit deep groove ball bearings
Press fit: When the inner ring of the bearing is tightly fitted with the shaft and the outer ring is loosely fitted with the bearing seat hole, the bearing can be press-fitted on the shaft with a press, and then the shaft together with the bearing is inserted into the bearing seat hole.
On the end face of the inner ring of the bearing during press-fit, a mounting sleeve made of soft metal material (copper or mild steel) is used, and the outer ring of the bearing is tightly fitted with the hole of the bearing seat.
When the inner ring and the shaft are loosely fitted, the bearing can be First press into the bearing seat hole, then the outer diameter of the assembly sleeve should be slightly smaller than the diameter of the seat hole.
If the bearing ring, the shaft and the seat hole are tightly fitted, the inner and outer rings of the installation chamber shall be pressed into the shaft and the seat hole at the same time.
The structure of the assembly sleeve shall be capable of simultaneously tightening the inner ring of the deep groove ball bearing and the end face of the outer ring.
Heating fit: By heating the bearing or bearing housing, thermal expansion is used to transform the tight fit into a loose fit installation method. It is a common and labor-saving installation method.
This deep groove ball bearing fit method is suitable for the installation of bearings with large interference. Before the hot loading, place the bearing or the sleeve of the separable bearing into the oil tank and heat it uniformly 80-100°C.
Then remove the oil from the oil and install it on the shaft as soon as possible. After cooling, the end face of the inner ring and the shoulder of the inner ring do not adhere tightly, and the bearing can be axially fastened after cooling.
When the outer ring of the deep groove ball bearing is tightly fitted with the light metal bearing block, the hot mounting method of the heating bearing block can prevent the mating surface from being scratched. When using the fuel tank to heat the bearing, there should be a grid at a certain distance from the bottom of the tank, or the bearing can be hung with a hook.
The deep groove ball bearing can not be placed on the bottom of the tank to prevent impurities from entering the bearing or uneven heating. There must be a thermometer in the tank.
Strict control of the oil temperature must not exceed 100 °C to prevent the occurrence of a flashback effect and reduce the hardness of the ferrule.
